This site is owned and operated by Geocache Land Ltd ('Geocache Land Ltd', 'Geocache Land', 'we' or 'us' or 'our'). These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website.
The Contract Between Us
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Geocache Land. Geocache Land must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment has been received Geocache Land will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide via your chosen payment method. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Geocache Land’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Geocache Land is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by Scottish law and are subject to the non–exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. The Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site. These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them will be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, pre-release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.
These terms and conditions only cover the Geocache Land website. Any other websites which are linked to from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites, which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
Geocache Land own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Geocache Land website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
We make no warranty that the Geocache Land website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error–free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.
We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Geocache Land website.
We make no guarantee that any measurements given are correct. All measurements are to be used for guidance only.
Intellectual property rights
All copyright, trade marks, design rights, database rights and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) which subsist in our Site and the Content belong to us or third parties (Our IPRs). We reserve all rights in Our IPRs. Except as set out in these terms, nothing in these terms grants you a right or license to use any of Our IPRs.
Availability of Goods You Order
If Geocache Land has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by Geocache Land from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Geocache Land will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Geocache Land will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Please note: we endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price can take a few hours to update.
International orders and Shipping
None UK orders generally take upto 28 business days in transit. Please allow additional time for customs processing. Express
shipping options are not available to other countries.
Please Note: The recipient of an order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient.
Any item advertised as being "Free Delivery" applies to the UK only. International orders will receive discounted postage on these products if we are unable to give free postage.
Geocache Land are not responsible for any item that is returned as "uncollected" or "unclaimed" from your local post office. Any item received back due to non-collection will be checked and if all items are in the same condition they left Geocache Land a refund will be made. This refund does not include any shipping fees and will be at a rate of 75% of the original sale price plus any additional shipping fees to cover the additional costs involved. e.g. Original sale price - £100 + £11.50 shipping fee = £111.50. Item returned as uncollected to Geocache Land and incurs £20 import tax and £8 handling fee from post office. Refund = 75% of £100= £75 - £28 fees = £47 refund.
Damaged Packages / Missing Items
Unfortunately packages can get damaged in the post and on very rare occasions items can go missing. For this reason we strongly recommend all customers use insured postage.
If you choose an uninsured postal service you do so at your own risk. Geocache Land cannot and will not accept any liability once the item(s) have been posted. No compensation or refund will be made for missing/ damaged items that are posted without insurance.
For insured postal services:
When receiving your package please check carefully for any damage to the package. If it looks like any item may be missing refuse to sign and do not take the package.
If there is damage to the packaging but it looks like nothing will be
missing, accept the package and please photograph the damage (including
address label) before opening. If on opening items are found to be
missing or damaged please photograph the contents as found in the
package showing the damage.
We never reseal packages before sending them. If your package has been resealed you must refuse to accept it and do not sign for it (unless marked as opened by official customs/ duty agencies).
Items sent by Tracked only service are insured while in transit only. Once the item is marked as delivered Geocache Land have no further responsibility to the customer, except in the case of evidenced damage while in transit.
Items sent Tracked and Signed are insured until the customer signs for the package. Once the item is signed for Geocache Land have no further responsibility to the customer, except in the case of evidenced damage while in transit.In all cases please contact Geocache Land as soon as possible so we can deal with the problem.

to (i) companies within the Geocache Land Group for the purposes and subject
that we undergo re-organisation or are sold to a third party, in which
case you agree that any personal information we hold about you may be
transferred to that re-organised entity or third party for the purposes
Please note that Geocache Land does not sell or pass your personal information to third parties (other than as set out in the paragraph above) unless you have given us permission or unless it is strictly necessary to deliver the products and services ordered or used by you and you are notified beforehand.
For example, we may disclose your data to a credit card company to validate your credit card details and obtain payment when you buy a phone or other product or service.

Social media, blogs, reviews
Any social media posts or comments you send to us (on the Geocache Land or Geocoins R Us Facebook pages, for instance) will be shared under the terms of the relevant social media platform (e.g. Facebook / Twitter) on which they are written and could be made public.
Other people, not us, control these platforms. We are not responsible for this kind of sharing. We recommend you should review the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms you use. That way, you will understand how they will use your information, what information relating to you they will place in the public domain, and how you can stop them from doing so if you are unhappy about it.
Any blog, review or other posts or comments you make about us, our products and services on any of our blogs, reviews or user community services will be shared with all other members of that service and the public at large. Any comments you make on these services and on social media in general must be not offensive, insulting or defamatory. You are responsible for ensuring that any comments you make comply with any relevant policy on acceptable use of those services.
How long do we keep your information for?
To make sure we meet our legal data protection and privacy
obligations, we only hold on to your information for as long as we
actually need it for the purposes we acquired it for in the first place.
In most cases, this means we will keep your information for as long as you continue to use our services, and for a reasonable period of time afterwards if you stop doing so, to see if we can persuade you to come back to us. After that we will delete it other than where we lawfully can keep any data for audit or legal reasons.
We shall keep data on our database for not longer
than 3 years from receipt subject to an individual’s right to
unsubscribe or be forgotten at any time.

Geocache Land recognises that its customers are increasingly
concerned about how companies protect personal information from misuse
and abuse and about privacy in general. Geocache Land is constantly reviewing
and enhancing its technical, physical and managerial procedures and
rules to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, accidental
loss and/or destruction.
Please be aware that communications over the Internet, such as emails/webmails, are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Your communications may route through a number of countries before being delivered - this is the nature of the World Wide Web/Internet. Geocache Land cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our control.

At Geocache Land we understand that the internet has many security
issues which have been highlighted in the media, especially regarding
credit card transactions. For your security & protection our system
as our main payment gateway. As of 19/07/17 we also accept credit & debit card and Apple Pay payments through STRIPE. At no time do we receive
your card details from PayPal or Stripe, only your address and delivery information
together with your purchase details and contact information.
When you enter your details to the PayPal or STRIPE secure gateway they are only used for the purpose of processing your order, we never pass them on to third parties unlike some of our competitors. We do not receive from PayPal or STRIPE any of your bank or card details, the only information we receive is conformation of payment and your contact details that you have supplied to the gateway provider (address, phone number and email).

Cookies. We use technology referred to as cookies only to track your movement around our site. A cookie is a small amount of data, often including a unique identifier, that is sent from a web site to your computer , or mobile device, and is stored on your device. In our case, Geocache Land, the main cookie we use is necessary to operate specific features of site such as the shopping basket and this cookie does not contain any personally identifiable information consisting of a unique identity code and this is deleted as soon as you close your browser. 4. Jewellery: Due to hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of earrings for any reason other than manufacturing faults.
Competitions / Promotions
We occasionally run competitions and promotions on this site and on our Facebook and Twitter pages. The following rules apply to all competitions and promotions in addition to all other terms and condition:
- There will be no cash alternative for any prize.
- All entrants must be at least 18 years of age when entering the competition / promotion.
- Geocache Land reserve the right to replace any prize with an alternative of equal or greater value due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Geocache Land's decision is final in all competitions / promotions.
- Geocache Land reserve the right to refuse / reject any entry to a competition / promotion without giving a reason.
- All prizes must be claimed within 3 months of the competition/ promotions closing date. Unclaimed prizes will not be re-allocated.
- Any item offered as free must be claimed at the same time as the order. Minimum spend amounts apply to all free offers. Maximum of one free item per order. Any order containing more than one free item will be seen as being in breach of these terms and conditions, and as such we reserve the right to withhold any free item from the order.

The name "Geocache Land" is a registered Trade Mark and copyright to Ian Ledger, trading as Geocache Land.
The Scotty Duck image, shape, colours, name and use are registered Trade Marks of Geocache Land. The use or reproduction of Scotty Duck in any way and/or for any reason in any form is strictly prohibited without prior written agreement from Geocache Land. The design of Scotty Duck is copyright of Jon-Paul Barr and for sole use by Geocache Land with full permissions.
Changes to This Agreement
Geocache Land reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforce-ability of any remaining condition.
